Time to Celebrate!

The promotion committee is a group of 6th and 7th grade parents who help decorate and set up refreshments to make the Promotion day special for our 8th graders.

Help Needed:

Refreshments are donated by 7th grade families. It is a Las Colinas tradition for the 7th grade families to provide refreshments for the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony reception.

 

2020 Promotion date is to be determined later in the school year.  Please help to continue this tradition and make it a wonderful day for our graduating 8th graders and their families.

Last Name & assignment:

A-G - box of individual packages of Cookies (e.g. Famous Amos, 12 pack)

H-M - package of individual mini-muffins (e.g. banana, chocolate, blueberry 24-40 pack)

N-T - 2 baskets or containers of fresh Strawberries (washed and stems removed)

U-Z - Large bag or container of Red or Green Grapes (washed and taken off the vine)

Please label "PROMOTION" and drop off food items to the school office. Cookies and Muffins can be brought as early as TBD. Fruit should be delivered Tbd before the close of school. Since Promotion is 10:00 am this year, we will need to have your donations delivered before Tuesday.

Volunteers needed to help set up the Gym. (Decorate, set out refreshments, and clean up.)

Candy Leis for sale!

Leis are $10 each. A limited number of leis will be available to purchase on Promotion Day, from 8:30-9:45am in front of the school office.

 

Leis will be available for pick up after school on June TBD from 3pm to 4pm. 

 

Promotion Lei Online Orders are not open for the 2019-2020 school year.
